Every HYXiPOWER Model Available in Australia (2026)

If a solar quote has landed in your inbox with a line item like "HYX-E150-H" or "HYX-H5K-HS" and no further explanation, you're not alone. HYXiPOWER's Australian range is built around a small set of alphanumeric model codes, and installers don't always take the time to translate them. This page is a single reference point: every HYXiPOWER (now trading in Australia as HYXI) battery and inverter model currently sold here, what each code means, and how the models relate to one another — so you can check a quote line by line instead of guessing.
HYXiPOWER's Australian residential range currently sits across two hardware families:
hHYXi HYX-E-H Battery Series (Stackable High-Voltage Battery)
The HYX-E-H is a modular, stackable lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) battery. Each module is identical; the model number simply tells you how many modules — and how much usable capacity — are stacked together.
Model | Nominal Capacity | Usable Capacity | Max Output | Weight |
HYX-E50-H | 5.3 kWh | 4.5 kWh | 3.5 kW | ~57 kg |
HYX-E100-H | 10.6 kWh | 9.0 kWh | 6.0 kW | ~115 kg |
HYX-E150-H | 15.9 kWh | 13.5 kWh | 9.0 kW | ~165 kg |
HYX-E200-H | 21.2 kWh | 18.0 kWh | 12.0 kW | ~215 kg |
All four are drawn from the same underlying module and share IP65 ingress protection, C4 salt-spray corrosion resistance, and a 10-year or 6,000-cycle warranty (whichever comes first), with a 70% end-of-life capacity guarantee. The HYX-E-H is DC-coupled and requires a compatible HYXiPOWER hybrid inverter — it isn't designed to pair with third-party inverter brands.

HYXi HYX-H-HS Series (Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter)
The HS suffix denotes HYXiPOWER's single-phase hybrid inverter line, spanning roughly 3 kW to 8 kW (HYX-H3K/3K6/4K/4K6/5K/6K/8K-HS). These units combine solar input, battery charge/discharge, grid connection and backup switching in one enclosure, with a sub-10ms grid/off-grid transfer time and a 50V low-voltage MPPT start-up. This is the inverter family most single-phase Australian homes pairing with a HYX-E-H stack will be quoted.
HYXi HYX-H-HT Series (Three-Phase Hybrid Inverter)
The HT suffix is the three-phase equivalent, split across two tiers for Australian homes and small sites:
HYX-H(5–12)K-HT — residential-scale, 5 kW to 12 kW, sharing a common chassis and supporting 160% continuous PV oversizing.
HYX-H15K–25K-HT — a larger three-phase tier (15 kW, 20 kW, 25 kW) aimed at bigger residential loads, small commercial sites, or systems with generator integration.
For a closer look at how the two suffixes differ, see HYXiPOWER HS vs HT: Decoding the Model Numbers, and our head-to-head of HYX-H5K-HT vs HYX-H10K-HT.
Why the Model Number Actually Matters When Comparing Quotes
Two quotes with the same "HYXiPOWER battery" line item can describe very different systems once you check the model code. An E100-H and an E150-H differ by a full 4.5 kWh of usable storage — often the gap between covering an evening's usage and running short before the panels come back on. Checking the suffix on the inverter matters just as much: an HS unit on a single-phase property is a different fit to an HT unit sized for a three-phase connection, and mismatching the two isn't something you want to discover after installation. Before signing anything, it's worth cross-checking the exact model codes on your quote against this index — or requesting a free, obligation-free quote so a specialist can confirm the right combination for your property.

Why Solar Panels and Battery Storage Make Sense in Australia
Abundant, Reliable Sunshine
Australia has some of the highest average solar irradiance of any developed country, which means rooftop solar systems here typically generate more usable energy per installed kilowatt than in most of Europe or North America. That output advantage is a large part of why rooftop solar has become the default, not the exception, on Australian roofs.
A Grid Under Growing Price Pressure
Grid electricity prices are set to shift again under the Australian Energy Regulator's 2026–27 Default Market Offer, which took effect on 1 July 2026. Most Default Market Offer regions saw a reduction in the reference price this cycle, with the drop generally larger for time-of-use customers than for flat-rate customers, and the update introduced the Solar Sharer Offer — a scheme giving eligible households a free grid-electricity window in the middle of the day (11am–2pm in NSW and South-East Queensland, 12pm–3pm in South Australia). A home battery is what lets a household actually capture and use that midday solar surplus instead of exporting it for a lower feed-in return.
Rebate Support Is Still Substantial, But It's Tapering
The federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program remains a significant part of why battery uptake has accelerated in 2026, and the scheme was expanded in scope in late 2025. It's a Small-scale Technology Certificate (STC) based rebate, and the STC factor now steps down on a schedule, with the highest support applying to the first tier of usable capacity and reduced support beyond that. Eligibility depends on your battery meeting the program's approved-products and installation criteria — it is not a "free" battery, and the appropriate size for your household matters more than it used to under the new tiered structure. For state-based schemes like NSW's Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS), eligibility conditions are separate again. Because rebate settings and figures are being revised through 2026, we've kept the specifics out of this page — our Rebate Guide is updated as each scheme changes.
Falling Battery Uptake Costs Are Meeting Rising Adoption
The Clean Energy Regulator's Q2 2026 Quarterly Carbon Market Report recorded a record quarter for rooftop solar installs, and by late July 2026 more than 4.4 million Australian rooftop solar systems were installed nationally — roughly 41% of homes. Home battery installs are following the same trajectory: 2025 saw over 193,000 installs, and 2026 is tracking toward a considerably larger number of installs and total storage capacity as the federal rebate continues to reduce the upfront cost of adding a battery to an existing or new solar system.
Choosing between these model numbers isn't something you should have to do from a spec sheet alone.
